Carrathool Shire Council proudly supports two eligible Charles Sturt University Students from the local community with scholarships of $3,000.

The scholarships provide financial assistance to local students allowing them the freedom to concentrate on their study without worrying about associated costs such as accommodation, text books, additional tutoring or other resources.

To be eligible, students must:

  • reside within the Carrathool Local Government Area (LGA);
  • have completed the majority of their schooling within the LGA;
  • be undertaking any course through Charles Sturt University; at any of their campus;
  • be able to demonstrate sound academic achievement;
  • be able to address the selection criteria in their application.

Preference may be given to applicants who express a desire to return to the shire at the completion of their studies.
