Carrathool Shire Council manage and maintain Hillston Cemetery, Googlowi Cemetery, Rankins Springs Cemetery and Carrathool Cemetery.

Merriwagga Cemetery and Gunbar Cemetery are controlled by external organisations.

Memorial Plaques – Lawn Cemeteries

Bronze memorial plaques are a lasting and personalised way to commemorate your loved one.

As per Council’s Cemetery management Policy 060 plaques in Council cemeteries are to be flush bronze plaques of uniform design and size (Rankins Springs & Goolgowi – 381mm x 279mm. Hillston – 381mm x 216mm). Bronze plaques can be ordered through Goolgowi or Hillston Council Offices.

Council’s customer service staff will assist you with the layout of your plaque before we provide a quote and proof for your chosen design. An information booklet is also available so that you can take the information you need home with you to aid in your decision.
