Swimming Pools

POOLS WILL REOPEN ON SATURDAY 7 NOVEMBER for the 2026/2027 SEASON

Please note: A Pool Entry Card is required for access to Council’s swimming Pools, these can be purchased from the Council Office’s in Goolgowi and Hillston and also from the Hillston Caravan Park.

Hillston & Goolgowi Pool Operating Hours

Monday 6am – 8pm
Tuesday 12pm – 8pm
Wednesday 6am – 8pm
Thursday 12pm – 8pm
Friday 6am – 8pm
Saturday/ Sunday and Public Holidays 7.30am – 12.30pm *12.30pm – 8pm

*Supervised operating hours 

Please note that during November, December and February our local schools may book exclusive use of the swimming pools for school swimming carnivals during school hours – in these times the pool is not open for public use. These times can be found on the noticeboards at the pools or call Council on 02 6965 1900 for more information.

Entry Fees

Season Ticket – Single $70.00
Season Ticket – Single Over 55 years* $42.00
Entry Fee – 19 years and over $3.50
2 – 18 years $2.00
Under 2 years Free
Seniors (over 55 years) and non swimmers $2.00

General Conditions of Entry

Toddlers’ Pools:

  • If a child is using the Toddler’s pool they must be supervised by a competent adult at all times.
  • No child over the age of 8 is permitted in the toddler’s pool.

Unsupervised Age of Entry:

  • Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a competent adult at all times.

Alcohol is not permitted in any area of the pools and/or pool grounds. 

Glass in any form is not permitted in any area of any pool. 

A copy of the full conditions of entry is available when you purchase your pool card and at all entrances to the pool complexes. Failure to adhere to ALL of the conditions of entry may result in your season pass being cancelled. NO REFUNDS will be provided for cancelled season passes due to breach of ANY entry conditions.

Swim Club

Hillston regularly host a local swim club. Swim club is only held during School term. On Swim club days pool access will be limited as below:

  • Hillston Swim Club, is held on Thursday from 5.30pm onwards. There is no access to the general public during this time.
  • Hillston Swim Club – Squad is held on Tuesday from 4.00pm. Two lanes will be closed during this time for swim club use.
