Council places important documents on public exhibition to allow members of the public to provide their feedback and have their say.

Why make a submission and what happens to my submission?

  • Your submission is used by Council to assist in its decision making processes.
  • Your personal information contained in your submission is collected by Council for the purpose of corresponding with you about your submission.
  • If you make an anonymous submission, Council will be unable to contact you further.
  • A summary of the points made in your submission will be contained in the Council meetings business paper and made public on Council’s website, your personal information will not be displayed.

Public Exhibition – Community Engagement Strategy 

Notice is hereby given that Council intends to adopt the draft Community Engagement Strategy (CES) following a public exhibition period of 28 days.

A copy of the CES is available for public inspection at the Goolgowi Office; 9-11 Cobram Street, Goolgowi, the Hillston District Office; 139-145 High Street, Hillston and the Hillston Library; 175 High Street, Hillston. A digital copy is also available below.

Any enquiries should be directed to Council on 02 6965 1900.

At any time during the exhibition period, submissions in writing will be received by Council addressed to the General Manager. Submissions can be sent by mail, or email as shown below and must be received by 4.15pm on Thursday 20 April 2023. Prior to formal adoption Council will take into consideration any submissions that have been received.
