Council places important documents on public exhibition to allow members of the public to provide their feedback and have their say.

The items below are currently on public exhibition and open for submissions.

Why make a submission and what happens to my submission?

  • Your submission is used by Council to assist in its decision making processes.
  • Your personal information contained in your submission is collected by Council for the purpose of corresponding with you about your submission.
  • If you make an anonymous submission, Council will be unable to contact you further.
  • A summary of the points made in your submission will be contained in the Council meetings business paper and made public on Council’s website, your personal information will not be displayed.

PUBLIC EXHIBITION

CODE OF MEETING PRACTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Council intends to adopt the revised Code of Meeting Practice following a public exhibition period. The public exhibition period will run for 28 days from Wednesday 27 July to Wednesday 24 August and submissions will remain open until Wednesday 7 September 2022.

The code is available for public inspection at the Goolgowi Shire Office, Hillston District Office, and the WG Parker Memorial Library. The code is also available here.

Any enquiries should be directed to Council on 6965 1900.

At any time during the public exhibition period, submissions in writing will be received by Council and must be addressed to the General Manager. Submissions can be sent by mail, fax or email as shown below, and must be received by 4.15 pm on Wednesday 7 September 2022. Prior to formal adoption of the code, Council will take into consideration any submissions that have been received.
