Carrathool Shire Council’s community grant scheme helps local non-profit community organisations/groups to undertake a project to meet identified needs in the community. Past projects have included air-conditioning, building repairs, outdoor seating, security system, community notice board, shade sails, fencing and entertainment.
The scheme provides up to $1,500 for projects within the Carrathool Shire Local Government area that support the wellbeing and benefit our local communities.
Applications are invited commencing July each year, with funds distributed to successful applicants on completion of the project.
Thank you to everyone who applied for a 2024/25 Community Grant. Council received over 20 submissions and successful applicants will be announced followed the August meeting of Council on Tuesday 20 August 2024.
