Expression of Interest
Hillston Subdivision (McGregor/O’Donnell Street)
Council are currently receiving Expressions of Interest (EOI) for purchase of land at the Hillston Subdivision.
Please note as per Council Minute 0918/25.06.2024 the following will apply:
12.1 Hillston Subdivision – Covenants
0918 RESOLVED that Council authorise:
- the following restrictions on the Hillston Subdivision land,
- no dwelling shall be constructed or erected other than in new materials or with such materials as are approved by Carrathool Shire Council.
- no transportable or relocatable home shall be bought onto the land, constructed thereon or permitted to remain thereon unless it is constructed of new material or without the approval of Carrathool Shire Council.
- no driveway will be constructed of earthen material, with construction to be of Pebblecrete, patterned or plain concrete, concrete brick or brick tile paving, or other such material as approved by Carrathool Shire Council.
- each Lot shall be entitled to a single dwelling or Dual occupancy rights or a second dwelling provided the second dwelling size does not exceed 60 m² subject to appropriate building and development applications being approved by Carrathool Shire Council.
- Carrathool Shire Council shall not be required to contribute to the cost of any boundary fencing owned by Carrathool Shire Council to divide it from adjoining lots.
- the deed of covenant relating to the building time frame of three years.
