Why make a submission and what happens to my submission?

• Your submission is used by Council to assist in its decision making processes.
• Your personal information contained in your submission is collected by Council for the purpose of corresponding with you about your submission.
• If you make an anonymous submission, Council will be unable to contact you further.
• A summary of the points made in your submission will be contained in the Council meetings business paper and made public on Council’s website, your personal information will not be displayed.

Rezoning – Merriwagga Village
The planning proposal seeks to rezone land from RU1 – Primary Production to RU5 – Village.
Land Subject to planning proposal: Undeveloped and developed land in Merriwagga Village. *

A copy of the planning proposals will be available from Council’s Offices at 9-11 Cobram Street Goolgowi, 139-145 High Street Hillston, Community Post Office 2A Boomerang Street Rankins Springs, and the Black Stump Hotel, Merriwagga as well as here on Council’s Website below.

Any submissions to the above proposals must be received in writing addressed to the General Manager before 4:15pm on Friday 13 December 2024.
